Going out in Lancaster This was the last night of the season for the Columbia Drive-In in Lancaster, and we didn't miss that. WOW ! The theatre was lit in 1956, and the show is still great. Hopefully it will still be there next year, kept up by this Renaissance of drive-ins that i hear about

Log Cabin Restaurant Lancaster, PA - Tel. (717) 626-1181

Disclaimer: the following are personal opinions based on personal experience, and are meant as notes for my friends and myself. Before jumping to any conclusions on a place reviewed in here, I'd suggest you go and see for yourself.

This is a very fancy restaurant where food is absolutely great, the atmosphere is sumptuous but in a cozy way, customers are definitely upper class and wine selection is comparable to a good italian restaurant. The owner is of italian origin and he and his daughter are the authors of many of the paintings that are displayed there, some of a Picasso style, some of a Modigliani, and some others right out of the russian red october time.
Getting there is nice cause it's right after one of those covered bridges that are common in this area. They have a bar and lounge where you can smoke and linger your time there after dinner.
Price is adequate.
